GENITAL AREA WHITENING

In women, for various reasons, conditions such as darkening of color, blackening, browning, and genital darkening may occur in the genital area. With the laser lightening treatments applied in recent years, bleaching and lightening can be applied to the darkened and browned genital area. Pregnancy, birth control pills, long-term medications, and creams applied to the genital area can cause darkening. The most important factor is the density of estrogen hormone in these tissues. Estrogen hormone can cause darkening in the genital area by stimulating cells called melanocytes, which cause darkening in the genital area with the effect of sunlight. Although it is a closed area, ultraviolet rays can easily reach this area. Advancing age, smoking, and poor genital hygiene are some reasons.

VAGINA (VULVA) LIGHTENING TREATMENT TYPES

These procedures to be applied to the vulva are decided after the examination of the patient. Laser treatments are a simple, painless application that can be applied on the examination day, and the patient can return to daily life immediately.

IS VAGINA WHITENING A PERMANENT PROCEDURE?

As a result of the bleaching process applied to the genital area, the lightening of the color will be permanent for a long time. However, due to the sensitive structure of the vulva to external factors and hormones, there may be darkening again after the bleaching process. Careful application of post- procedure care will prevent re-darkening. Healthy eating, exercising, using the cotton laundry, and staying away from chemical products are other measures that can be taken.

GENITAL FILLING

As with all skin tissue, thinning, sagging, wrinkles and depression may occur in the genital area with age. For this reason, filling procedures are performed on the big labia in cosmetic gynecology operations.

WHY DO BIG LABIA DROOP?

Especially with aging, the skin tissue in the big labia loses its resistance, sags, and has a wrinkled appearance. This situation is related to the fact that the collagen connective tissue of the person is not good in terms of genetics. Smoking, alcohol use, skin diseases, chronic itchy diseases, previous births, rapid weight gain and loss, chronic irritation, aging, and menopause can cause sagging. In addition, sagging due to sudden weight loss after bariatric surgeries, which are frequently applied today, may cause this problem tooccur more frequently.

HOW IS GENITAL AREA FILLING DONE?

Big labia filling is done in two ways.

1. HYALURONIC ACID INJECTION TO THE GENITAL AREA

It is a simple procedure performed with local anesthesia. Big lips become fuller with hyaluronic acid injection into both lips. The permanence period of the filling varies between 6 and 10 months.

2. FAT INJECTIONS TO THE GENITAL AREA

Adipose tissue taken from the abdomen, inner part of the legs, or hips is injected into the thinned genital area, and thus the genital area that looks sunken becomes fuller. The injected fat melts at 60-70% within one year, so it is given more in volume at first. The process can be repeated at the end of 1 year or when needed. Then the adipose tissue remains for many years. A younger appearance is obtained in the vulva with filler injections made into the genital area.

GENITAL AREA TIGHTENING WITH LASER

In some cases, the laser procedure applied to the external genitalia without a filling process provides stretching. In parallel with the increase in collagen connective tissue in the external genitalia, the big lips are tightened and gain a brighter and more lively appearance.

SURGICAL APPLICATION

In some patients, sagging may be too advanced to be corrected with filling alone. In these patients, the big labia are surgically narrowed. If necessary, the filling can be applied in the same session.

GENITAL MESOTHERAPY

Mesotherapy applies a mixture of plant extracts, vitamins, hematopoietic and other bioactive substances with tiny needles to the skin and subcutaneously, to benefit from the therapeutic effect or cosmetic purposes. Mesotherapy is not the treatment of anything, and it is the name of the method of giving the drug. Purposes used for cosmetic reasons;

Mesotherapy is applied in people who complain of physical conditions due to menopause, in cases where the genital area exposed to sunlight loses its collagen tissue, loss of elasticity, and sagging due to advancing age and health factors.

Mesotherapy application, which does not feel ache and pain, can be applied in several sessions and gives healing results in treating genital wrinkles. After the application, the person can return to her daily life on the same day. Small bruises may occur on the skin for a short time.

VAGINA TIGHTENING (VAGINOPLASTY)

Vaginal enlargement can occur in many women as they age and go through pregnancy and vaginal delivery. As a result of vaginal enlargement, both the sexual life of the couple can be affected, the frequency of vaginal infection may increase, and complaints such as gas coming out of the vagina can be seen.

VAGINA TIGHTENING WITH LASER

Laser vaginal tightening is applied to tighten the vaginal canal again, rejuvenate it, increase sexual pleasure and achieve orgasm more comfortably. The laser technique re-strengthens the underlying support tissue of the entire vagina. Thus, the narrowing, tightening, and shrinking of the vagina are provided. Since there is no need for any procedure such as incision, suture, or removal of parts under local anesthesia, the laser method can be preferred whenever desired. The procedure takes an average of 20-30 minutes.

The laser is applied to the vagina with a head of about 15 cm. As a result of this application, which is carried out at an interval of 4 weeks, the vaginal tissue is renewed and tightened. Depending on the device used and the patient, 3-4 sessions may be required at intervals of 4 weeks.

VAGINA TIGHTENING WITH SURGERY

If the vaginal width is so large, the vagina is narrowed by surgical intervention. This operation is performed with general anesthesia or spinal anesthesia. It is recommended not to have intercourse during the healing process of the stitches. This period varies between about 4 and 6 weeks.

ORGASM STRENGTHENING TREATMENT

Orgasm is a state of pleasure consisting of pleasurable contractions around the vagina and pelvis after adequate sexual stimulation, varying from person to person. Female orgasmic dysfunction is defined as a persistent or recurrent delay or absence of orgasm despite a normal phase of sexual arousal.

How Is Female Orgasmic Dysfunction Treated? Women's absence of orgasm (anorgasmia) is treated with sex therapy. In this treatment method, the goal is for the woman to have an orgasm alone and then with her partner. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Anxiety Correction / Relaxation Techniques, and Behavioral Assignments / Homework Studies are some of the treatments. The treatments applied in cosmetic gynecology aim to strengthen the already existing but insufficient

orgasm. For this purpose, hyaluronic acid and PRP applications are applied to erosion areas. Likewise, vaginoplasty and hoodoplasty (removal of excess skin on the clitoris) also strengthen the orgasm feeling.
